If you are a UR Student, we are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team. We want to build up the site and make it a top local resource for up-to-date city and state government coverage. Listed below are areas where we need support.
- City Council Correspondent – covers Richmond or Richmond-area City Council meetings and posts council meeting summaries.
- School Board Correspondent – covers Richmond School Board or Richmond-area School Board meetings and posts meeting summaries.
- Social Media Correspondent – we currently don’t have a URGOV specific social account, although we post relevant information to the CCE social accounts. Help us generate content about elections, city and state updates, and voter engagement along with the CCE’s Communication Team.
- Policy Correspondent – follow and post policy updates and/or create write-ups on a pressing local issue. Policies and issues of current interest are: police reform efforts, education reform, transportation policy, and more.
